This probably doesn't go into fitness and health at all (it's more like the opposite) but I just thought I'd make a topic for the auld commercial holiday since it is so centered around food (well it is for me anyway, hello extra 5kg).

And also I'm getting seriously homesick because I can't wait to eat all our funky Christmas food (Sweden has a seriously wicked tradition when it comes to Christmas foods). Like vörtbröd (bread made with wort), glögg (mulled wine but it's WAY better than mulled wine) and stuff like that.

The reason for this is that I just made Southern Comfort chocolate truffles.
While I'm not the hugest fan of SC itself, mother of God do they taste good.

So I just want to know what people usually eat around this time as it seems people usually have different family traditions and I'm always up for new ideas since I love cooking

Make sure you're serving many. Tongue

I want to try this at least once.

NB: Make sure rashers/bacon are covering the top of the outer layer for the tastiest experience.

Turducken looks mad.
It's not Swedish tradition to eat turkey for Christmas though, my mom only did it once because she couldn't be bothered doing all the complicated stuff. 7

Generally we eat meatballs, tiny sausages, various forms of weird fish (that I don't eat except the salmon) oh and brussel sprouts, yuck.

Brussel sprouts are gorgeous. I love them.

Going to have good ol' chicken as we hate turkey.

yeah likewise. I've been to too many dinners.
Turkey, christmas ham, meatballs, half a ton of potatoes, ginger bread, glögg (mulled wine) and so on.
I feel like I'm going to explode.
